Our Story

Is that a mirage? You may ask. Is that a smoke laden beacon of Gondor? Is that a barbeque pirate ship crewed by some of the kawarthas best lookin dudes?

The answer is yes! Established in 2023, Mammoth barbeque is the realized vision of owners Nik Aström and John Ellis. Both veterans of the comfort food world they joined forces to bring you some of the areas best in slow smoked, decadent barbeque goodness.

Happily adopted by the Douro community, mammoth barbeque is fuelled by love of good food and good people.
